Great Lunch in Carrickalinga

While out doing the tasting videos for Retro Wines we stopped into Fork Tree Brewing.

Fancy a great day out of the city and the prefect spot for lunch! Head down the Fleurieu and you’ll find Fork Tree Brewing an amazing spot at Carrickalinga. The views are amazing, the food so satisfyingly good. There dishes will not disappoint from the great curries, burgers, traditional fish and chips and the finger licking good ribs. The biggest challenge will be what to choose. Beware no small serves here.

wonderful views at Fork Tree. Winenutt’s review

It has a great buzz open Thursday through to Sunday. We’d recommend reserving a table on the balcony where you’ll have the amazing views from Carrickalinga through to Normanville and beyond. On a really clear day you’ll be able to see Kangaroo Island. It’s a 50 min drive from the city with amazing views on the way such as Myponga lookout if you travel across the top of the dam. Don’t forget to check in at the lookout!

It is a great spot to chill with friends and family with a glass of wine or the beer tasting paddle! It is very family friendly with a great playground and icecreams in a cone for the kiddies! Looking forward to trying the Kangaroo
