Jeanneret Cabernet Malbec
Almost black with a bright purple rim. Impossibly rich nose of cassis and red berries with big spicy notes complimenting the medley of aromas. The palate is textured and mouth watering with great firmness and grip from the cabernet and a big fleshy middle thanks to that fantastic, dark, savoury malbec. It’s very, very approachable now and will gain character and complexity over the next 5 years or so.
Delicious with a croque monsieur, roast beef or lamb. Perhaps a great steak tartare. Or push the boat out and have with roast goose.
