“Don’t miss it. A pretty, pale straw green hue heralds a sauvignon.  Bursting with flavour, character and tension. In fruit concentration, perfectly integrated yet taut acid drive and unadulterated persistence, this is hands-down the finest under this label yet. It’s loaded with every sauvignon hallmark in the book: gooseberries, white nectarines, passionfruit, lemons and lantana.” Mike Stelzer  93 points | Drink 2020-2021

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are picked at exactly the right Baume to ensure that the final wine is clean and crisp, while providing good amounts of fruit aromas.

The wine shows a balance of green characters without showing anything overzealous, think green pea and kiwi fruit on the palate to start and lovely acidity and crunch to make the finish clean and savoury.

“Mike Press is always value for money, but this wine takes it to another level. It’s crawling with grassy, green pea, citrus and kiwi fruit that take a millisecond to fill the palate, crunchy acidity there to provide an emphatic, cleansing finish. The one caveat is its need for food, the cuisine largely irrelevant, but Chinese/Thai/ Malaysian would always fit the bill.”  -James Halliday

“It’s a cracker. Lovely varietal nose and full fruit flavours.”
