A vivid purple, like pouring freshly made grape juice into a glass. Oodles of pulpy purple-fruit scents, violet, lavender, vanilla and malted caraway. Enticing. Inviting. Full and plush, with a dollop of sweetness to temper some chamois tannins across the finish. Ned Goodwin, June 2021
Soft, juicy, flavoursome. It has aroma of heady perfume of black fruits, with grounding forest floor. On the palate: Viscous juicy blackcurrant and light spice. It is a deep violet colour. Treated with Oak: A touch of new, predominantly old neutral for fermentation.
Would pair well with Beef, everyway you can cook it. All barbequed meats – and veg for that matter, hard cheeses.
