Pike & Joyce is a proud partnership between two families who share a love of the Adelaide Hills and a determination to produce only the finest wine. In 1998, the Joyce family, which has owned and managed Adelaide Hills orchards for five generations, teamed up with Clare Valley wine legends, the Pikes, to develop 25 hectares of prime grape growing land. The wines produced have a distinctive regional character and it is no surprise that the Pike & Joyce wines have established a reputation as some of Adelaide Hills’ finest.
WINEMAKER’S NOTE
Our vineyard produces fruit with high natural acidity, making it perfect for sparkling wine. This release was able to be vinified without the use of additional acid, resulting in a perfectly balanced wine. Hand Picked and partly whole bunch pressed into a combination of old stainless steel to maintain its lovely bright flavours. A small portion is fermented in old French barriques for creaminess and texture.

A bright, pale salmon pink blush. With vibrant aromas of fresh guava, tropical fruit and cranberry. Some subtle hints of barrel fermentation provide some intrigue.
The palate is crisp and bright with cranberry, guava and hints of strawberry. Light to medium bodied with a fine mousse. Residual sweetness balanced deliciously with natural acidity and textural Pinot Noir elements.
Drink well chilled over the warm spring and summer months ahead.
